Rayne--Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne, La. for Lloyd J. Meaux, 83 who passed away, Monday, April 22, 2013 at 9:55 a.m. at his home in Rayne.
Deacon Tommy Adams will officiate for the services.
The family is requesting the visitation to be held Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Thursday. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 6:30 in the evening in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Kaplan Cemetery in Kaplan, La.
Survivors include, seven daughters, Patricia Louviere of Loreauville, Glenda Rogers of Rayne, Brenda Miller of Rayne, Katharine Hardy of Rayne, Dianna Doty of Duson, Debra Meaux of Kaplan, and Patsy Rogers of Rayne; one sister, Alice Pierre of Lafayette; seventeen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Mr. Lloyd was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jane H. Meaux and his 2nd wife, Shirley Rose B. Meaux and his parents, Alcee and Elita Saltzman Meaux.
