Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley, La. for Ms. Evelyn A. Bertrand, 77, who passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 1:17 p.m. at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
Pastor Woody Gunnels, pastor of the New Hope Fellowship Church in Eunice will be officiating for the services.
The family is requesting the visitation to be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. then visitation will continue on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be in the Abshire Cemetery in rural Kaplan.
Ms. Evelyn is survived by one daughter, Melinda Smith of Midland and one son, Louis and wife Cindy Alvarez of Gueydan; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
