Mire—Graveside funeral services for Jack Wayne Zimmerman, III, 26, of Monroe, NC will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in Assumption of the Blessed Mother Catholic Cemetery, Mire, with entombment to follow in the church mausoleum. Father Mike Arnaud will officiate.

Jack passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 10:14 P.M. in Monroe, NC.

Jack was born in Norfolk, VA, and had lived in North Carolina, New York, and Louisiana at different times in his life. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Jack had worked with his father as a tile layer. He was a member of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his father, Jack W. Zimmerman, Jr. and wife, Gayle of Mire; mother, Angie Brown of Monroe, NC; sisters, Ashley Zimmerman of Mire, Brittany Ackroyd of Raleigh, NC, Caroline Zimmerman of Mire, and Kayley Zimmerman of Mire; and paternal grandparents, Jack W. Zimmerman, Sr. and Sue Ann Zimmerman of Anna, IL.

Preceding Jack in death were his maternal grandparents, Florence and Donald Brown.
