Obituary for
Ella Mae Breaux (Thibodeaux)
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Scott, La. for Ella Mae T. Breaux, 78, who passed away at the home of her daughter in Lafayette surrounded by family on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 4:30 p.m.
Fr. Mario Romero, Associate Pastor of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church will be officiating for the services.
The family is requesting the services to be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel in Rayne, La. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, April 15, at 6:30 in the evening. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be held in the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in Scott.
Survivors include, her husband of sixty three years, Steven Breaux, Sr. of Lafayette; one son, Steven and wife, Martha Breaux, Jr. of Sulphur; three daughters, Patricia and husband, Robert Guidroz of Breaux Bridge, Debra Morgan of Carencro and Faye and husband, Jerry Varnadoe of Lafayette; one sister, Elia Prudhomme of Lake Charles; fifteen grandchildren and Eighteen great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ella Mae was preceded in death by one son, Michael Breaux; one daughter, Rose Thibodeaux; her parents, Joseph and Octavie Thibodeaux; five sisters; two half brothers; one half sister.
Pallbearers for the services will be, Steven Breaux, Jr., Joe Thibodeaux, Chad Boss, Steven Breaux, III, Lance Morgan, Blake Morgan, Brett Guidroz and Matthew Morgan .
