Branch—Funeral services for Mr. Frank Guidry, Jr., 73, of Branch will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in Good Shepherd Deliverance Revival Center, Branch. Reverend Lucille Moore will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 8:00 A.M. until 10:20 A.M. in Duhon Funeral Home, Church Point.

Mr. Guidry passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 6:16 A.M. in a Church Point healthcare facility.

A native and lifelong resident of Branch, Mr. Guidry was a Born-Again Christian member of Good Shepherd Deliverance Revival Center in Branch. He worked as a farmer for his entire life, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Monroe Guidry of Branch; daughters, Tina Guidry of Church Point, Mary Monroe of Sunset, LaDonna LaDay and husband, Gregory of Opelousas, and Rockelle Andrus and husband, Joseph of Opelousas; sons, Tim Guidry, Sr. and wife, Keysi of Carencro, William Monroe of Rayne, and Dustin Monroe and wife, Mary of Opelousas; brothers, Floyd Guidry of Crowley, Renis Guidry of Rayne, and Paul Guidry of Rayne; and 22 grandchildren.

Preceding Mr. Guidry in death were his parents, Frank Guidry, Sr. and Pearl Judge Guidry; and several brothers and sisters.
