Rayne—A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Bernice Joseph Mouton, 68, of Rayne will be celebrated on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, Rayne. Father Richard Wagner will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, Rayne.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 7:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. in Duhon Funeral Home, Rayne, with a rosary being recited at 8:00 A.M.

Mr. Mouton passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 at 2:21 A.M. in a Crowley health care facility.

A native and lifelong resident of Rayne, Mr. Mouton was a member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church. He worked for many years in the agriculture industry.

Survivors include his sisters, Mary Jackson of Rayne, and Ida Dugas of Rayne; brother, Enis Mouton and wife, Julia of Eunice; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding Mr. Mouton in death were his parents, John Mouton and Lovnia Guidry Mouton; sister, Mathilda Mouton; and brothers, Ernest Mouton and William Mouton.
