Obituary for
Dorothy LeMaire (LeMaire)
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Crowley for Dorothy L. LeMaire, 72, who passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 12:07 p.m. at the Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
Fr. Matthew Higginbotham, Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in Abshire Cemetery in rural Kaplan.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, October 13, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary will be recited Monday at 6 in the evening in the Chapel. Visitation will resume Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
Ms. Dorothy last job she was at Paul Marks’ Town and Country Club.
Survivors three sons, Terry LeMaire of Lafayette Randale LeMaire of Lafayette and Wesley LeMaire of Crowley; two daughters, Debby Loignon of Crowley and Sandy Richard of Gueydan; one sister, Mary Hoffpauir of Kaplan; one brother, Nick LeMaire of Las Vegas; thirty three grandchildren and twenty one great-grandchildren and one great great-grand daughter.
Ms. Dorothy was preceded in death by three daughters, Jackie L. Seaux, Suzie Ann LeMaire and Tammy LeMaire Cardenas; one son, Randy J. Lemaire; her parents, Murphey LeMaire and Sadonia Bell Lebeuf; two sisters, Hazel LeMaire and Goldie Seaux; two brothers, Rodley “Blue” LeMaire and Rodney “Crip” LeMaire.
