Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Bessie P. Breaux, 82, who passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 2:10 a.m. at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette.
Rev. Gerard Morgan from Northside Assembly of God Church in Crowley will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the North Hanks Cemetery in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and then visitation will resume on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services all in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley.
Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth “Chick” Benoit and Gwen Leleux both of Crowley; one son, Ward “Ray” and wife, Alyssa Breaux of Crowley; six grandchildren, John and wife, Margaret Benoit, Tonka Leleux, Angel Leleux, Jennifer and husband, Ryan Landry, Brett and wife, Carisa Broussard and Megan and husband, Jacob Cramer; nine great grandchildren, Bethany Benoit, John Michael Benoit, Izabella Perry, Eric Williams, Jr., Jordan Broussard, McKenzie Broussard, Landon Broussard, Jack Cramer and Kye Broussard; one sister, Lettie Magnon of Crowley.
Ms. Bessie was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Lizzie (Hanks) Perry; one grand-daughter, Courtney Carroll and one grandson, Albert Breaux.
