Crowley- Funeral Services will be held for Cecile T. Spell, 79, at 10:00AM on Saturday February 14, 2015 at Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley, LLC with Rev. Gerard Morgan and Rev. Ryan Post of Northside Assembly of GOD Church of Crowley, LA officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday February 13, 2015 beginning at 11:00AM until 9:00PM and will resume on Saturday February 14, 2015 at 8:00AM until just prior to service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery.
Cecile was a longtime resident of Crowley, LA, was active with her church choir and other singing groups and enjoyed visiting with family and friends on a weekly basis
Mrs. Spell is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Calvin L. Spell of Crowley, LA; niece, Jaketa Platt and her husband Mike of Eagle Lake, MS; nephews, Billy Hubert and his wife Sherry of Vicksburg, MS and Will Hubert and his wife Diane of Eagle Lake, MS, Joey Leleux of Orange, TX as well as numerous great nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Desire and Ozita Trahan; sisters, Lucille Hubert and Laura Leleux.
