Rayne- A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated for John B. Breaux, Jr., 82, at 10:00AM on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Duhon Funeral Home, Chapel, Rayne, LA with Deacon Tommy Adams officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 11:00AM until 8:00PM with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00PM and will resume on Monday at 8:00AM until just prior to time of service. Interment will take place at a later date. Mr. Breaux passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Amelia Marie Breaux, of Mire, LA; daughters, Janet Simon of Elton, LA , Lisa Kennison and her husband, Johnny of Church Point, LA; sons, John Breaux, III and his friend, Bridget Comeaux of Church Point, LA, Raymond Mouton Breaux of Church Point, LA, Darrell Mouton Breaux and his wife, Julie of Orange, TX; sister, Irene Benoit and friend, Nathan Patin of Henderson, LA; brothers, Adam Breaux and his wife, Gail of Marrero, LA, Walter “Bud” Breaux and his wife, Jane of Youngsville, LA, Ralph Breaux and his wife, Sannie of Fredericksburg, VA; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Mr. Breaux was preceded in death by his parents, John Baptice Breaux, Sr and Theresa Bouillon Breaux; brother, Robert Lee Breaux and one sister, Rose Leleux.
