Lyons Point- Funeral Services will be held for Joanne Savoie Gaspard, 58, on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 2:00PM at Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley, LA Chapel with Rev. Clint Trahan officiating. Visitation will begin on Friday at 10:00AM and will continue until just prior to time of service. Interment will be at a later date. Mrs. Gaspard passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Joanne was a resident of Lyons Point, LA and enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time with her, husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. She also loved dearly her dogs, Susie, Violet, Sindy and Sherie and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband of eleven years, Arlie Gaspard of Lyons Point, LA; daughters, Joanie Credeur and her husband, Jai of Lyons Point, LA, Joana Schexnaider and her husband, Reggie of Thibodaux, LA, Masey Gaspard of Lake Authur, LA; sons, John Guilbeaux and his wife, Tessa of Lyons Point, LA and Jason Guilbeaux, Sr. of Thibodaux, LA; grandchildren, Johanna Guilbeaux, Teonna Guilbeaux, Jason Guilbeaux, Jr., Jolie Schexnaider, Hailey Guilbeaux, Mia Guilbeaux, Mackenzie Credeur, Hunter Guilbeaux, Rylie Schexnaider and Kane Credeur; father, Antoine Savoie of Theriot, LA; sisters, Jane Beebe of Thibodaux, LA, Linda Ryman of Gray, LA, Angela LaCoste of Theriot, LA; brothers, Francis Savoie of Gray, LA and Billy Savoie of Thibodaux, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Richard, daughter, Jolynn Guilbeaux; maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
