Anna Belle Venable (Leger)
Churchpoint- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Anna Belle Venable, 70, at 10:00AM on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire, LA with Rev. Mike Arnaud officiating. Visitation will be held at Duhon Funeral Home, LLC of Church Point Chapel on Monday, July 27, 2015 beginning at 4:00PM with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00PM until 9:00PM and will resume at 8:00AM on Tuesday until just prior to the service time. Entombment will follow the church service and will be in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Mausoleum. Mrs. Venable passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at her residence in Church Point, LA.
She is survived by her loving husband of 46 ½ years, Felton J. Venable of Church Point, LA; daughter, Leslie Venable Adams and her husband, Marc of Denham Springs, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Venable was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Leger and Anita Benoit Leger; and two brothers, Allen Leger and Joseph Leger, Jr.
