Crowley- Funeral Services will be held for Dallas J. Pelly, Sr., 86, on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00AM at Duhon Funeral Home, LLC Chapel- Crowley with Pastor Mark Broussard officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 3:00PM until 10:00PM and will resume on Saturday at 8:00AM until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery in Indian Bayou, LA. Mr. Pelly passed away at his home in Crowley, LA on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
Mr. Pelly is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mildred “Millie” Broussard Pelly of Crowley, LA; sons, Leonard Pelly and his wife, Audrey of Woodville, TX, Jeff Pelly and his husband, Bill Hufnagle of Easthampton, MA, Dallas “D.J.” Pelly, Jr. and his wife, Mary Leleux Pelly of Crowley, LA; grandchildren, Chris Pelly, Joseph Lee Pelly, Stacey Pelly Kurt and her husband, Collin, Deanna Pelly , Dallas Allen Pell; five great-grandchildren; brother, Lawson “Boss” Pelly and his wife, Ellen of Vidor, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elphage Pelly and Edna Guidry Pelly and two sisters, Della Pelly Mott, Nina Pelly Prejean.
