Crowley- Funeral Services will be held for Acy C. Foreman, Sr., 95, at 10:00AM on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Duhon Funeral Home, Chapel-Crowley with Pastor Nick Peters, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Carencro, LA officiating. The family has requested visitation be held at Duhon Funeral Home-Crowley Chapel on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM and will resume on Monday at 8:00AM until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the service and will be in Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery in Indian Bayou, LA. Mr. Foreman passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, LA.
Acy was a Veteran of World War II serving as a Medic and retired with Chevron in 1983 after decades as an Oilfield Mechanic. He was also a member of the Parkerson Avenue Baptist Church in Crowley, LA.
Mr. Foreman is survived by his son, Acy C. Foreman, Jr. of Lafayette, LA; daughter, Darlene Landry and her husband, Reed of Gatlinburg, TN; grandchildren, John Foreman and his wife, Kristi of Houston, TX, Kristin Cavallaro and her husband, Jason of Lafayette, LA, Cacy Foreman and his wife, Mireya of Carencro, LA; Jennifer Hoffpauir of Crowley, LA, Scott Hoffpauir of Crowley, LA., Dustin Landry and his wife, Maria of Knoxville, TN, Ana Hill and her husband, Will of Gatlinburg, TN; eight great-grandchildren, Hannah, Spencer, Jaley, Jackson, Landon, Beau, Knox and Jade; brother, Cleve Foreman and his wife, Gail of Lafayette, LA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Spencer Foreman; daughter, Brenda Hoffpauir; parents, Clarence Foreman and Jane Meaux Foreman; brothers, Noah Foreman, Jimmy Dale Foreman; sisters, Rose Foreman, Alice Spell and Irene Foreman.
Pallbearers will be John Foreman, Scott Hoffpauir, Dustin Landry, Cacy Foreman, Jason Cavallaro and Cleve Foreman, Jr.
