Kathleen Pellerin
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point for Kathleen M. Pellerin, 71, who passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 7:16 A.M. at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas.
Pastor David Baudoin, Pastor of Crossroads Church in Lafayette will be officiating for the services.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, at 6:30 in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Survivors include two daughters, Jenora Phillips of Church Point, Mary Kathryn Forestier of Mire; her ex-son-in-law, James “Red” Phillips of Carencro; three brothers, Pat Menard of Carencro, Robert Menard of Humble, TX and Jackie Menard of Texas City, TX; three grandchildren, Tasha and husband, Seth Schexnayder of Breaux Bridge, Natalie Phillips of Lafayette and Anthony “T.J.” Forestier, Jr. of Mire.
Ms. Pellerin was preceded in death by the father of her children, John A. Miller; her ex- husband, Fred Pellerin; her parents, Willis and Edith Menard; one son-in-law, Tony Forestier, Sr.; four sisters, Verna Williams, Susie Menard, Jacklyn Menard and Pamela Patin and one brother, Carol Menard.
