Obituary for
Lillian Bergeron (Colligan)
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Lillian C. Bergeron, 90, who passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 2:28 P.M. at her home in Church Point.
Msgr. Jeff DeBlanc, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Old Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 8:00 A.M. until time of Services.
Survivors include, one daughter, Peggy B Thibodeaux and companion, James Harmon of Church Point; one son, Francis and wife, Phyllis Bergeron, Jr. of Church Point; three grandchildren, Todd and wife, Jackie Thibodeaux, Traci and Josh Miller and Francis “Brud” and wife, Tricia Bergeron all of Church Point; eight great-grandchildren, Logan and Dylan Thibodeaux, Laura, Halle, Jadyn and Alex Miller, Baylee and Brooke Bergeron all of Church Point, and several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Francis L. Bergeron; her parents, Gilbert and Lorena C. Colligan; two sisters, Nedia Estillette and Lela Briscoe; one brother, Joe Colligan.
