Obituary for
Cynthia "Cyndi" Charlotte (Leger)
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point for Cynthia “Cyndi” Charlotte, 53, who passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 2:30 P.M. in Church Point.
Msgr. Jeff DeBlanc, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip Thibodeaux and Tracy Thompson of Church Point, Travis and wife, Robyn Thibodeaux of Church Point; two daughters, Tori Charlotte of Church Point and Janae’ and husband, Jose’ Vargas of Church Point; the father of her children and lifelong friend, Martin Charlotte of Church Point; six brothers, Myron and wife, Tina Leger of Rayne, Michael Leger of Rayne, Tony and wife, Renee Leger of Church Point, Bryan and wife, Liz Leger of Church Point, Harris Leger of Rayne and Kevin Leger of Church Point; one sister, Pam Duplechain of Church Point; eight grandchildren, John Drake, Dane, Evangeline, Madison, Phillip, Jr., Elyse, Kylan and Haison.
Cyndi was preceded in death by her parents, James and Delphina T. Leger.
