Eunice Broussard (Benoit)
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morse for Eunice B. Broussard 95, who passed away on Wednesday, August 03, 2016 at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley at 10:55 A.M. surrounded by her family.
Fr. Clint Trahan, Pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morse will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in Istre Cemetery in Morse.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited at six o’clock in the evening on Friday in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. Visitation will resume on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara and husband, Clotis Vincent, and Paulette Simon both of Morse; one sister, Leola Fruge of Lake Charles; twenty one grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren and forty four great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Daniel Broussard; one daughter, Laura Dale Duhon and one son, Larry Broussard; two grandchildren, Kevin and Danny Cormier; one step granddaughter, Virginia Duhon; her son-in-law, Edward “Poncho” Simon; her parents, Pierre and Eugenia T. Benoit; one brother, Earl Eugene Benoit; two sisters, Hazel McBride and Mable Foreman.
