Carol Broussard (Bourgeois)
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point for Carol B. Broussard, 69, who passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 1:15 A.M. at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas, La.
Deacon Byran Winn will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic New Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. until time of services all in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point.
Survivors include her husband of fifty three years, Arthur Broussard, Jr. of Church Point; five daughters, Rhonda and husband, Steve Kent of Theodore, AL., Roxane Cheramie of Church Point, Christine Broussard of Buras, La., Rachel Broussard and Billy Lee of Grandbay, AL. and Alice Creppel and Darby Cheramie of Picayune, MS.; two sisters, Barbara and husband, Eugene Marks of Erwinville, La. and Regina and husband, Danny Crawford of Columbia, MS.; two brothers, Wayne and wife, Geraldine Bourgeois of Westwego, La. and Kirk Bourgeois of Columbia, MS.; twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Carol was preceded in death by parents, Ives and Rose Mae Bourgeois; two son-in-laws, Chester Cheramie and Rickey Peoples; two sisters, Susan Plaisance of Westwego and Patricia Billiot of Marrero, La.; one brother, Ives “Butch” Bourgeois of Marrero, La.
