Crowley- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Jane W. Benoit, 76, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley, LA with Rev. Michael DeBlanc as Celebrant. Visitation will begin on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 4:00PM until 9:00 PM with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM and will resume on Saturday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the church service and will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Benoit passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Camelot Place of Crowley.
Mrs. Benoit is survived by her sons, Troy Benoit and his wife, Shapri of Crowley, LA and Kevin S. Benoit and his wife, Paige also of Crowley, LA; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren as well as one sister, Rose Morvant of Crowley, LA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis H. Benoit; parents, Ozone Benoit, Sr. and Cidalise Mary Benoit; three brothers, Ozone Benoit, Jr., Johnny Benoit and Gene Benoit as well as one sister, Ivy Lou Benoit.
Pallbearers will be Troy Benoit, Caden Benoit, Josh Benoit, Dylan Benoit, Chuck Ashby and Justin Bourgeois.
Mrs. Benoit’s family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Dr. Thomas Curtis as well as the Nurses and CNA’s at Camelot Place of Crowley, LA for their care and compassion shown to Mrs. Benoit while a resident at Camelot Place.
