A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Lyons Point for Hilliard E. LeLeux, 79 who passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 5:25 P.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.
Fr. Clint Trahan, Pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Lyons Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in Abshire Cemetery in Rural Kaplan.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited at 7 o’clock in the evening on Sunday in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife of sixty one years, Grace D. LeLeux of Morse; three sons, Hilliard J. “Tibby” Leleux of Morse, Bruce and wife, Kay LeLeux of Kaufman, TX. and Wayne LeLuex of Morse; one daughter, Deborah “Yvonne” Smith of Estherwood; one brother, Nugie LeLuex of Crowley; eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hilliard was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Russell Smith; his parents, Whitney and Lillia H. LeLeux; one brother, Minus J. LeLeaux.
Mr. LeLeux served our country in the United States Air Force where he retired after serving twenty one years as a Master Sergeant. Prior to his service in the Air Force Mr. Hilliard did serve two years in the National Guard.
