Brandyn Christopher Stakes
Crowley- Funeral Services will be held for Brandyn Christopher Stakes, 25, 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Duhon Funeral Home-Crowley Chapel with Jason Corder of Forest Park Church officiating. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will resume on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 8:00 AM until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in Abshire Cemetery in rural Kaplan, LA. Mr. Stakes passed away at his home in Crowley, LA on Sunday, April 16, 2017.
Brandyn is survived by parents, Matthew and Chasity Stakes of Church Point, LA; fiancé, Destiny Medows of Crowley, LA; children, Landyn Stakes and Ivy Brown of Crowley, LA; two step- children, Emma Thibodeaux and Annsley Brown both of Crowley, LA; three sisters, Brandy Lanclos and her husband, Kyle of Arnaudville, LA, Kaycie Billiot of Crowley, LA, Ashlie Billiot of Crowley, LA; brother, Ryan LeBlanc of Little Rock, AR; paternal grandmother, Sheila Nolan of Branson, MO; maternal grandparents, Linda LeJeune of Crowley, LA and James LeMaire of Crowley, LA; nieces, Emma LeJeune, Sawyer Lanclos and Abigail Lanclos all of Arnaudville, LA and Timmie Grace and Gabrielle Miller both of Crowley, LA; nephews, Haidyn Billiot, Desmond Woods, Jr., Traevin Billiot and Riley Miller all of Crowley, LA.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfathers, Arthur Stakes and Donald Nolan.
Pallbearers will be Ryan LeBlanc, Johnathon Stakes, Dwayne Leckelt, Richard Johnson, Jr., Kyle Lanclos and Cody Borges. Honorary pallbearers will be Kaitlyn Comeaux and Drake Guidry.
