Wilbert Joseph "Black" Broussard Sr.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Wilbert “Black” Broussard, Sr., 89 who passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 5:30 P.M. at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette.
Mike Clouse will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in Acadia Resthaven Cemetery in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services all in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley.
Survivors include one daughter, Rebbecca and husband, Kenneth Deville of Crowley; three sons, Wilbert J. Broussard, Jr. of Morse, Clevenis “Clay” Lawrence and wife, Kathy Broussard of Stephensville and Jason Paul Broussard of Crowley; three grandchildren, Danielle Denise Broussard, Jason Rhodes and William Parker Whitten; three great-grandsons.
Mr. Broussard was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Lou F. Broussard; his parents, Clevenis and Arise Broussard; two brothers, Bruce Broussard and Wilfred Broussard.
