Obituary for
Joyce Faul
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard for Joyce B. Faul, 86, who passed away at Acadia St. Landry Guest Home in Church Point on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 3:25 A.M.
Fr. Wayne Duet, Pastor of St. Edward Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. Visitation will resume on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Rayon of Church Point and Barbara Smith of Carencro; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Faul of Church Point; one brother, Laurent Bellard, Jr. of Eunice; eight grandchildren; David Rayon of Church Point, Tabitha and husband, Lacy Collins of MS., SSG Shane and wife, Kadie Smith of Grovetown, GA., Amy and husband, Beau Marks of Church Point, Carissa Menard of Church Point, Rebecca Meche of New Orleans, Nicholas and Caren Meche of Church Point, Michael and wife, Kayla Comeaux of Iota; sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Ms. Faul was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth Meche; one son, Gary Faul; two son-in-laws, Jude Rayon and Willie Meche; her parents, Laurent and Ernestine LeJeune Bellard; one brother, Orice Bellard; three sisters, Odile Vanicor, Amy Doucet, and, Ruby Miller.
