Milton John "Blue" Meche
Rayne- Funeral Services will be held for Milton “Blue” John Meche, 72, at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel with Deacon Tommy Adams officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home chapel from 10:00 AM until just prior to the service time with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at a later date. Mr. Meche passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Lafayette General Medical Center Southwest.
“Blue” is survived by four sons, Chris and wife, Angel of Rayne, LA, Donnie his fiancé, Nikki of Rayne, LA, Lonnie and his wife, Cassy of Mire, LA and Cody Meche of Mire, LA; two sisters, Bernita Benoit of Mire, LA and Linda Comeaux and her husband, Mike of Rayne, LA; one brother, Leo Meche, Jr. and his wife, Betty of Mire, LA; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and the mother of his children, Linda Meche and Autherine Bergeron of Rayne, LA.
Mr. Meche was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynette Meche; son, Edgar Campbell; parents Leo Meche, Sr. and Agnes C. Meche; one sister, LeeVerdie Cormier and one brother, Willie Meche.
