Obituary for
Mary Comeaux
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Mary L. Comeaux, 72, who passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 10:27 A.M. at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge.
Msgr. Jeff DeBlanc, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart New Cemetery Mausoleum in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy and husband, Paul Grizzle of Church Point, Brandi Comeaux and companion, Paul Pelas of Church Point; one granddaughter, Brittney Olivier and fiancé, Kallin Guidry; three grandsons, Darenion Gobert, Hunter and Joshua Lewis all of Church Point; one great-grandson, John-Luke Guidry of Church Point; two brothers, Terry and wife, Louise Lejeune of Breaux Bridge, Allen Lejeune of Church Point; several sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and fur babies.
Ms. Comeaux was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Comeaux; her parents, Mitchell and Isabelle J. Lejeune; two brothers, Aaron and Raymond Lejeune; one great-granddaughter, Olivia Guidry.
