A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Lyons Point for Gregory “Greg” Hebert, 51, who passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 4:02 P.M. at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette.
Fr. Neil Pettit, Pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Lyons Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery in Lyons Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. Visitation will resume on Monday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife of twenty two years, Elizabeth A. Hebert of Crowley; two sons, Chris Abshire of Crowley, Joshua and Victoria Hebert of Youngsville; two daughters, Monique and Jonathan Chelette of Pineville, Gracie Hebert of Crowley; his mother, Sadie Hebert of Crowley; his mother-in-law, Rose Abshire of Crowley; two sisters, Monica Blair of Friendswood, TX, Deidra Vasseur of Church Point; three grandchildren, Rhydian, Gage and Layla.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, Steve Hebert; his father-in-law, Caster Abshire.
