Obituary for
Yvonne Gail Latiolais
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Chapel in Lewisburg for Yvonne Doucet Latiolais, 59 who passed away at her home surrounded by her family in Church Point.
Fr. Garrett Savoie, her great nephew and Associate Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, will be officiating for the services.
The family is requesting the visitation to be held on Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. then Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A Rosary will be recited Friday at 7:00 in the evening in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in St. John’s Chapel Church Cemetery in Lewisburg.
Survivors include her husband, Ferdie Latiolais of Church Point; two sons, Morgan and wife, Lauren Latiolais of Church Point and Tyler and companion, Angella Cormier of Church Point; three step sons, Ricky Latiolais of Lafayette, Wade and wife, Erin Latiolais of Youngsville and Tommy and wife, Michelle Latiolais of Church Point; one step daughter, Gwen and husband, Ronnie Boudreaux of Church Point; three sisters, Bernella Thibodeaux of Church Point, Charlene Daspit of Lafayette and Janelle Doucet of Church Point; one brother, Rogers and wife, Betty Doucet of Church Point; thirteen step grandchildren and fourteen step great-grandchildren.
Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Armenia B. Doucet and four brothers, Milton, Kermit, Roy and Albon Doucet.
