Charles Landry Jr.
Rayne—Funeral services for Charles Landry, Jr., 65, of Rayne will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, Rayne. Father Kendal Faulk will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2, Rayne.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 8:00 A.M. until service time in Duhon Funeral Home, Rayne, with a rosary being recited at 9:00 A.M.
Mr. Landry passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 12:59 A.M. in a Lafayette hospital.
A native and lifelong resident of Rayne, Mr. Landry was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He dedicated his life to helping others through his work as a nurse. Mr. Landry had worked at Rayne Guest Home for several years, and at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center for over 33 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his close friend of 53 years, James Mouton of Rayne; friend, Becky Menard and husband, Wayne of Rayne; sister, Alice Dykes of Rayne; brothers, Robert John Landry and wife, Audrey of Rayne, and Liness James Landry of Rayne; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Preceding Mr. Landry in death were his parents, Charles Landry, Sr. and Edolia Credeur Landry.
