Verna Dugas (Primeaux)
Lyons Point- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Verna Primeaux Dugas, 67, at 2:00PM on Monday, January 26, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Lyons Point, LA with Rev. Clint Trahan as Celebrant. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM on Sunday, January 25, 2015 with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00PM until 10:00PM and will resume at 8:00AM on Monday, January 26, 2015 until just prior to service time. Interment will follow the church service at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Lyons Point, LA. Mrs. Dugas passed away on Friday, January, 23, 2015.
She is survived by her children, Roxanne Dugas Meaux and her husband, Blaine of Lyons Point, LA, Gwen Dugas Hoffpauir and her husband, Dennis of Egan, LA, James Daniel Dugas, Jr. of Houston, TX and Danielle Dugas Jabusch and her husband, Chris of Egan, LA; grandchildren, Brittney Abshire, Skylar Meaux, Shelbee Hoffpauir, Layton Meaux, Morghan Jabusch, Cammrayn Meaux, Brynn Jabusch, Keaghan Meaux and Ella Jabusch; great-grandchildren, Liam and Eli Abshire; brothers, Larry, Patrick and Thomas Primeaux and one sister, Joanna Primeaux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel James Dugas; parents, Joseph and Bernice Primeaux; sister, Linda P. James; one nephew, Gilbert James; father-in-law, Adam Dugas and mother-in-law, Jeanne Comeaux.
Pallbearers will be Skylar Meaux, Layton Meaux, Morghan Jabusch, Cammrayn Meaux, Thomas Primeaux and Kemmeth Simon. Honorary pallbearers will be Davey James and Keith Primeaux.
