Obituary for
Kimball Aubrey Foreman
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Indian Bayou United Methodist Church in Indian Bayou for Kimball A. Foreman, 84, who passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 9:48 p.m. at Camelot Place Nursing Home in Rayne.
Pastor Larry Maxwell, Pastor of the Indian Bayou United Methodist Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Indian Bayou United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family has requested the visitation to be held Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. Then visitation will resume on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services at the Indian Bayou United Methodist Church.
Kimball was born in Abbeville, La. on February 4, 1931. He was a graduate of Indian Bayou High School in 1948 and of Centenary United Methodist College in 1952. He was a member of the U.M.C. in Indian Bayou, La.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann D. Foreman, of Indian Bayou, one sister-in-law, Betty Jo Foreman of Lafayette and one son, Christopher Foreman of Little Rock, AR.
Proceeding Kimball in death are his parents, Emery Foreman and Ettie F. Foreman; one sister, Audrey F. Martin and husband, Kenneth Martin; one brother, John Foreman.
The family would like to extend a special word of Thanks and Appreciation to all attending medical doctors and staff of Acadia General Hospital. A word of Thanks also to his doctors: Dr. Patrick D. LeLeux; Dr. Ben Sabbagliran; Dr. Charles Bowie; Dr. Karen Robin and Dr. Mark C. Petitjean. Thanks to the wonderful Staff of Camelot and to Stacey Dubois, R.N. and case manager, Nurse Patsy Johnson and his aide, Kristen Istre of Family Choice Care for providing the tender Loving Hospice care in his last days.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that a donation be may to the Family Choice Hospice, 106 Deertree Dr., Suite B, Lafayette, La 70507.
