Wallace Joseph Trahan
Duson- Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, LLC of Rayne, LA for Wallace Joseph Trahan. He was 73 years of age. Visitation will be held at Duhon Funeral Home, LLC. , Chapel on Sunday, August 9,2015 beginning at 10:00AM, with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00PM, until 10:00PM and will resume on Monday at 8:00AM until just prior to service time. Interment will follow the funeral service and will be in St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery in Duson, LA. Mr. Trahan passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 in Lafayette, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie C. Trahan of Duson, LA; daughters, Debra Broussard and her husband, David of Church Point, LA, Pamela Trahan and partner, Victor Hebert of Opelousas, LA; grandchildren, David Broussard, II, Sean Tate, Crystal Broussard, DonnaJo Broussard and Aaron Tate; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Broussard, Taylor Broussard, Shanan Beckwith and Hunter Broussard; brothers, Wilton Trahan, Carol Trahan, Rodney Trahan and Paul Trahan; sisters, Delta Thibodeaux and Linda Credeur.
Mr. Trahan was preceded in death by his parents, Edney Trahan and Ethel Marie Albarado Trahan; brother, Dalton Trahan and sister, Rosa Mae Spell.
Pallbearers will be David Broussard, II, Sean Tate, Aaron Tate, Michell Trahan, Ronnie Trahan and Victor Hebert. Honorary pallbearers will be Jr. Thibodeaux, David Broussard and Bradley Thibodeaux.
