Offord Stephen Touchet
Rayne- A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated for Offord Stephen Touchet, 71, at 2:00PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel- Rayne, LA with Rev. Sam Fontana as Celebrant. Visitation will be held at the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel on Monday, November 2, 2015 beginning at 10:00AM until 10:00PM with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00PM and on Tuesday from 10:00AM until just prior to the time of service. Entombment will follow the church service and will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery # 2. Mr. Touchet passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at his home in Rayne, LA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Sandra Peterson Touchet of Rayne, LA; children, Steven Touchet of Rayne, LA, Paula Romero of Crowley, LA, Paul Touchet and his wife, Kim of Crowley, Huey Touchet and his wife, Kimberly of Rayne, LA, Mary Touchet of Rayne, LA; eleven grandchildren and “one on the way”; as well as thirteen great-grandchildren.
Mr. Touchet was preceded in death by his parents, Olefiad Touchet and Lillian Morvant Touchet; daughter, Pauline Touchet Aucoin; granddaughter, Mitchell Sue Romero; son-in-law, Nicholas Romero, Sr. as well as one sister, Gladys Touchet Breaux.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Touchet, Nicholas Romero, Jr., Huey Touchet, II, Richard Washington, Markus Babineaux, T- John Simon, Koi Gautreaux and Travis Cormier. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Touchet, Paul Touchet, Huey Touchet, Wilfred Touchet, Paula Touchet and Mary Touchet.
