Obituary for
Joseph Corlton LeBlue
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Church Point for Corlton “T-Joe” LeBlue, 74, who passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 3:00 A.M. at Acadia St. Landry Hospital in Church Point.
Fr. Emmanuel Awe, Pastor of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested visitation to be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 10:00 A.M.in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point.
Survivors include three sons, Corlton LeBlue, of Church Point, Charles and wife, Shemika LeBlue of Church Point, Kendricks, and wife, Agnes LeBlue of Church Point; one dauther, Germaine, and husband, Kirk Poullard of Church Point; one son-in-law, Leonce Edwards of Eunice; three sisters, Loretta Grant of Rayne, Theresa Guillory of Crowley and Shirley Davis of Houston, TX.; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. LeBlue was preceded in death by his wife, Verna “Red” LeBlue; one son, Timothy LeBlue and one daughter, Sandra Edwards; his parents, Joseph C. and Anna LeBlue; six brothers and four sisters.
