Obituary for
Linda LaValley Tweedel
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 12:30 P.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley for Linda L. Tweedel, 69 who passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 4:02 A.M. at her daughter’s home in Crowley surrounded by her family.
Fr. Matthew Higginbotham, Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P. M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday August 28, 2016 at 6:30 in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. Visitation will resume on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 8:00 A. M. until time of services.
Survivors include her husband of forty two years, John B. Tweedel of Crowley; two daughters, Tara and husband, Randall Credeur of Crowley and Shevonne Tweedel and Jonathan Blanchard of Crowley; one sister, Nadine and husband, Larry Primeaux of Lyons Point; four brothers, Richard LaValley of Lafayette, Glenn and wife, Stella LaValley of Lafayette, Alan and wife, Vanessa LaValley of Tulsa, OK and Shawn LaValley of Rayne; three grandchildren, Kaleigh Credeur, Joel Credeur and Carson Tweedel.
Pallbearers for the service will be Chad Primeaux, Alan LaValley, Randall Credeur, Jonathan Blanchard, Shawn LaValley, Blane Aucoin. Honorary Pallbearers for the service will be Joel Credeur, Carson Tweedel, Keith Primeaux and Brett Primeaux.
Mrs. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rosa May D. LaValley; one brother, Scott LaValley.
